As a UN-Habitat consultant on the Yaoundé-Nsimalen Urban Corridor project, implemented in partnership with MAETUR, I played a key role in defining the planning vision for the sustainable transformation of this strategic urban axis. I conducted territorial diagnostics and formulated strategic development guidelines that integrated principles of smart, inclusive, and sustainable urban growth. I also led consultation workshops with local authorities, communities, and stakeholders to ensure participatory planning. In addition, I facilitated training sessions for municipal staff, focusing on spatial planning tools and sustainable urban practices, helping to strengthen local capacities and align the project with national and global development goals.
